Sale & Purchase (S&P) Shipbrokers

On behalf of a global shipbroking company we are looking for shipbrokers who may wish to join them to do Sales & Purchase broking in the Hong Kong office and also in Shanghai or Singapore.

Candidates should have experience in and knowledge of Sale & Purchase broking. Chinese language ability is essential, and the successful candidate will almost certainly be a Chinese national.

Responsibilities:

• Coverage of existing clients and development of new ones.
• Sourcing, negotiating and concluding ship sales.
• Liaising with other offices in the group, to maximise business across the company.
• Expanding and developing new contacts with principals on both the buying and selling sides.
• Preparing MOA's and assisting with arrangement of other sales documentation, as required.
• Undertaking business trips and client entertainment as necessary.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years' experience, up to and including senior brokers.
• Credible and Professional Intergrity.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Chinese language proficiency is essential and the successful candidate will almost certainly be a Chinese national.
• Fluent in English, at least to a business level.
• Degree or shipping qualification.
