Chemical Tanker Shipbroker

One of our clients, a medium-size, expanding shipbroking company, based in Singapore, with overseas offices, handling tanker, dry and Sale & Purchase broking, has asked us to introduce them to shipbrokers who may wish to join them to do Chemical Tanker Shipbroking. The roles will be based in Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

• Competitive Shipbroking of Chemical Tankers.
• Maintain and build relationships with existing Charterers and Owners and build new ones.
• Responsibility for contracts and fixtures concluded and ensuring operational follow up.
• Sourcing and sharing of freight market views and market information.
• Undertaking business entertaining and travel, including international, where required.

Requirements:

• Established Shipbroking professionals with 5 - 12 years relevant experience and knowledge of Chemical Tanker broking and markets.
• Good knowledge of Chemical Tankers and all relevant charter parties and documentation.
• Dynamic and ambitious team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Chinese language ability is essential, and the successful candidate will almost certainly be a Chinese national.
• English language fluency.
