S&P Shipbroker

On behalf of a medium-size, expanding shipbroking company, based in Singapore, with overseas offices, handling tanker, dry and Sale & Purchase broking, we are looking for shipbrokers who may wish to join them to do Sales & Purchase broking in the Singapore Office.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting and servicing existing clients.
• Negotiating and concluding ship sales.
• Liaising with other offices in the group, to maximise business across the company.
• Expanding and developing new contacts with principals on both the buying and selling sides.
• Preparing MOA's and assisting with arrangement of other sales documentation, as required.
• Undertaking business trips and client entertainment as necessary.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have around 5-12 years' experience in and knowledge of Sale & Purchase broking.
• Degree or shipping qualification.
• Min 5/12 years' experience, up to and including senior brokers.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Asian language ability is an advantage, and Chinese, Singaporean or Japanese national will be welcome.
• English language proficiency is essential.
