On behalf of a Global Shipbroking firm, we are looking for experienced English and Mandarin-Chinese speaking Handysize/ Supramax/ Panamax Shipbrokers to be based in China.

Responsibilities:

• Competitive Shipbroking in Asia/Pacific Spot, Mid & Long-term Chartering markets for Handysize, Supramax and/or Panamax vessels.
• Coverage of Chinese Principals, either Charterers or Owners or both.
• Maintain and build relationships with existing Charterers and Owners and build new ones.
• Proactively develop new business ideas for Principals.
• Responsibility for contracts and fixtures concluded and ensure operational follow up.
• Sourcing and sharing of freight market views and market information.

Requirements:

• Established Shipbroking professionals with 3 - 8 years relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of Asia/Pacific Handy, Handymax, Supramax and/or Panamax dry bulk trades.
• Strong connections and proven track records with Chinese Principals.
• Dynamic and ambitious team player.
• Excellent communication skills, English language proficiency is essential as well as fluent Mandarin-Chinese.
