Commodity Trader (Ferrous and/or Non-Ferrous Metals) - Major Trading Group

On behalf of a major trading group, we are looking for commodity traders with experience in metals (ferrous and/or non-ferrous) to join their team in Dubai. The successful candidate will have at significant experience in the market, preferably in the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey region, but other areas can also be considered.

Fluency in English is very important, and other language skills will be helpful.

Responsibilities:

• Keeping a close watch on the relevant markets in relation to product and investment pricing, trends and demand
• Developing and maintaining connections with buyers, sellers and other market players
• Negotiating sales and purchases, and preparing any necessary documents as required
• Working closely with the group's other offices, as required

Requirements:

• Preferably Bachelor's Degree, alternatively considerable professional experience of the commodities trading industry
• Good existing market relationships, and the ability to develop new ones
• Ability to work in a team, but also to conclude business without supervision, if necessary
• Willingness to undertake business trips, if required
• Excellent level of spoken and written English
